Mrs. Kyla D. Harvey
LSW
Mrs. Harvey obtained her master's degree in social work from Temple University.
Areas of Emphasis: Utilizing a dynamic therapeutic style that draws from multiple theories, Kyla encourages clients to reconnect and balance emotionally, physically, spiritually, and socially. Through therapy, clients are inspired to look beyond the barriers of their traumatic experiences in an environment that fosters transparency, honesty, and sustainable growth. I work with issues such as substance abuse, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, anger management, emotional disturbances, and other life stressors.
I believe childhood experiences play a significant role in our adult lives. If we are neglected and lack nurture and support, this affects our ability to have meaningful and healthy relationships and impairs our self-esteem and self-worth. I utilize an integrative approach in therapy based on client needs. Through the therapeutic relationship, I create space where clients can write a new narrative and push past their current one.
