Dr. Christopher T. Watts Sr., Ph.D., LPC, NCC

 

Dr. Watts is a Licensed Professional Counselor (PA), National Board Certified Counselor, and a National Certified Custody Evaluator who has worked with children, adolescence, adults, couples, families, and groups since 2005. He is the founder and owner of C.T. Watts & Associates, PC, located in Harrisburg, PA.


Education: Dr. Watts obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania, and his Doctoral Degree in Advanced Counseling Studies with a concentration in Psychology, Graduating with Distinction from Capella University. Additionally, Dr. Watts completed a post-graduate training program at Drexel University, College of Medicine & Behavioral Healthcare Education, to earn accreditation as a Certified Co-Occurring Disorders Professional Diplomat.


Areas of Emphasis: Dr. Watts looks forward to working with individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, excessive worries, marriage/couples conflict, child and adolescent development, addiction, select mutism, and other psychosocial concerns. Dr. Watts' preferred intervention method includes using Positive Psychology, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, and Trauma Informed Care.

Mrs. Kyla D. Harvey

Ms. Amy L. Silva

MA

Ms. Silva is a Licensed Behavior Specialist, certified trauma-informed care specialist, autism specialist, and a Dyadic Developmental informed psychotherapist who has worked with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and groups for over 25 years. Ms. Silva has worked with various severe mental health and behavior issues in residential, partial, and school settings. She joined C.T Watts & Associates in 2019.

Education: Ms. Silva earned her Bachelor's degree in English with a Minor in Psychology from Lyndon State College and her Master of Arts degree in Clinical-Community Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.
Areas of Emphasis: Ms. Silva's specialty area is working with children and their parents on issues with autism, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and families with adoption concerns. Ms. Silva provides a solid clinical skill set when working with parents and their children to understand their child's social, emotional, and behavioral needs while delivering psycho-education to them understandably and productively. Her style with children and families is playful, curious, empathic, and accepting. Ms. Silva's preferred intervention methods include relational psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, client-focused therapy, and Combined Parent-Child Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Kaila M. Mitchell, MA, LPC, NCC

 

Education:
Kaila is a Licensed Professional Counselor (PA) who earned her Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and her Master's Degree in Counseling from Messiah University. Kaila also holds a certificate in Sport Counseling and Student Athlete Mental Wellness from Pennsylvania Western University- California and earned a second Master's Degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion with a concentration in Sports Psychology with the same university.

Area of Emphasis:
Kaila approaches treatment with a compassionate and effective therapeutic approach. With a deep commitment to helping clients achieve their best selves, Kaila employs a variety of evidence-based practices including Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral techniques. Her skills span a wide range of mental health challenges with emphasis on depression, general anxiety and stress, parent/child conflict, and bipolar disorder. Her passions further extend to helping athletes at all levels excel by enhancing mental performance and teaching skills to reduce performance anxiety.

Kaila's personalized and empathetic approach creates a safe and supportive environment for individuals to explore their thoughts and emotions. She encourages individuals to advocate for their needs and empowers them to overcome obstacles to achieve lasting well-being.

Jessica Martin

Licensed Social Worker

Mrs. Martin is a Licensed Social Worker. Her personal mission is to empower individuals and families to live the life they want to live.

Education: Mrs. Martin earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Bloomsburg University and her Master of Social Work degree from Widener University.

Areas of Emphasis: Mrs. Martin specializes in working with adolescents, individuals and families. She provides a safe environment to address stress, anxiety, self-esteem, anger management, social-emotional concerns, behavioral issues, grief and loss, parenting, coping skills and relationship issues.

Mrs. Martin has supported individuals and families for 15 years. She believes in leaving everyone she meets better off. Helping to expand a person’s trajectory is her passion. She believes that everyone has what it takes to accomplish their personal goals, desires and expectations. Everyone has a story, and it is important to tell it. Mrs. Martin is here to listen, empower, and teach necessary skills to live a fulfilled, everyday life.
